2 Properties: white or white yellowish, powder or acicular crystal, melt point is 284-288 ℃, Relative density is 1.68(20℃), boil point is 397.4 ℃. Was dissolved in DMSO, DMF, acetone, EAC, THF. etc., Can't be dissolved in chloroform, ether and benzene.It will to adsorb moisture quickly  and become to pyromellitic acid when exposure to moist air. 

3, Use: used in the manufacture of polyimide film, polyimide resins, special plasticizers (TOPM), water-soluble coating and special anti-corrosion coatings, matting agents of powder coatings, senior electrical insulating materials, also can be used to produce epoxy curing agents, phenolic resin stabilizer, blue phthalocyanine dyes, corrosion inhibitors, instant adhesive, toner of electro photographic,etc.
